Team Combs Blog

Thanks so much to all of you who participated in the Stride & Ride with us this year. More than 50 of our friends and family were able to attend, and many more were there in spirit and participated by donating or helping raise money. We did a very poor job of giving you much notice and vow to do better next year.

As part of that effort, we have started this blog to establish a central point where information can be made available. Our plan is:

• To provide a way for those who would like to walk with us to get a Team Combs T-Shirt so that our group can be easily identified.


• To keep you updated with specific details relative to future events.


• To make donation links easily accessible. (This will come as welcome news to those of you who have had to deal with the spotty instructions in the past.)

If you would like to be notified automatically when something new is posted on this site, you can use the RSS feed or email subscription options. The email subscription is automated and you can unsubscribe at any time. As this site probably won't be updated as often as our family blog, using RSS or email is an easy way to stay informed without having to remember to periodically revisit this site.

In the meantime, take a look at the pictures from this year's event and the video below. Several members of our group can be seen walking in the video. Sarah is the first parent spotlighted and is shown again near the end. I think she is the perfect poster-mom for the campaign. Check it out:
